Along with my wanting US streets, I am looking for a parking lot/car park (NOT a parking garage/structure, but a large parking lot, like the ones you'd see at a grocery store or shopping mall.

    I agree.  It's surprising that there are no parking lot props offered on any website, not even in the Shop, nor Renderosity.
