Having problems with Shadowcaster Bundle, the clothes don't fit on a Victoria 4.2

I bought the Shadowcaster Bundle at 70% off, but the clothes don't even seem to come close to fitting.
It says it is for the Victoria 4, Aiko 4, Victoria 4 Elite, Stephanie 3.
I don't have many figures.
I have the Victoria 4.2 bundle, and none of the clothes seem to fit unless I do some insane tweaking and that does not seem right.
If I add muscles then things seem to get really broken.
Did I miss something obvious?

If you look at the Product Page here : http://www.daz3d.com/shadowcaster you will see in the What's Included and Features tab, a complete list of all the morphs that are supplied with this clothing.
Victoria 4.2 is an older figure, and uses a different rigging method to Genesis or Genesis 2, so clothing must contain the same morphs as the figure to work properly. With Genesis/Genesis2, all of the Genesis morphs are contained automatically within the clothing, so, one size fits all (near enough), but that is not the case with Generation 4 (or earlier) figures.
If you are adding your own morphs to V4, then you need to put them into the clothing yourself (Transfer Active Morphs), or use the other fit morphs which are provided such as 'voluptuous', 'Young', 'Waist Width' etc. to get the clothing to fit properly.
Note that the corset is made to fit a corset-shaped V4 - if you look in the AK Shadowcaster>01 - SC Utils folder in the Pose library you will find two INJ poses that are to be applied to V4, one (01 - INJ Corsage Fit) for the base shape and the other for a more pronounced effect that also requires a morph to be set in the corset; the fact that it is made to fit as morphed figure does mean it probably won't AutoFit to Genesis well without tweaking. The coat has morphs to fit over the corset and, as with many long items, a mixture or morphs and body-handles (extra bones attached to the hit) to adjust the drape. This is a fairly complex set, but it does work in DS.
I am unclear on what to do.
I have the Victoria 4.2 bundle. How do I create a figure that will fit the clothes properly?
I want to see how the clothes look in their default state, so I want to make a body that was made for them.
I get so many options when making a figure, I can't tell which are the base and which are extras.
When I click actor Victoria 4.2 with the paper Icon in the corner (don't know what that means), I get a PowerLoader pop up offering me to chose from a bunch of morphs plus I see Legacy Injection Slots.
No idea what any of that means, or where to look it up.
The image attached is an unedited default made for the suit.
The bundle says Compatible 3D Figures Victoria 4, Aiko 4, Victoria 4 Elite, Stephanie 3
But the suit says Stephanie 4 Elite Base.
Do I need to buy that too in addition to the what I have?
Standard unmorphed V4.
Inject the util morphs from the pose library into V4
Better put some panties on that girl, Cho. :)
She had the purple bikini on under her corset.
Maybe I am doing something wrong, I can't create a 4 only a 4.2.
I must be missing something really obvious, but I can't see it. There has to be a default figure the clothes fit without having to tweak the hell out of to fit.
I select the Victoria 4.2 Figure, and then I click on INJ Corset Fit and INJ Corset Shape, but the clothes still don't fit. I can see her body shape change when I apply, but I get the same results like the picture above.
I create a figure with no morphs, and it is still a bust.
ChoHole you seem to have the suit, so how did you get it to work on a default body with no morphs?
Have you fitted the clothes successfully?
I must have missed a simple step somewhere, because it can be this hard.
That was not a Default body with no Morphs. Chohole used V4.2, she then injected the Corset Morph, she then opened the V4.2 figure in the Parameters tab and set the Corset morph to FULL ON. Then she loaded the corset.
Often injecting a morph just adds it to the figure, you the User must then go and Use the morph. Not all morphs, heck not even most morphs, auto set to on. You inject the Morph and then you need to Dial or Set that morph by hand.
I am thinking maybe my 4.2 has become corrupted or something.
I created a Victoria 4.2 figure with no morphs added at all.
This is what my Parameters tab looks like after I apply the injections.
If you Did a Hand install then you need to Execute the V4.2 Bat file that creates the open morph channels in the Figure. If that file is not run the mesh does not have any Morph channels to inject a morph into. A DIM install auto runs that file, a hand install from a zip will not. The file will be found in your Content Folder at...
Runtime:/Libraries/!DAZ the file DzCreateExPFiles-V4.bat must be run to have morph channels in the figure.
All Base figures from Generation 4 will have one of these bat files that will need to be run before Morphs will work
I hope this helps.
Also the morphs, example the corset morph, must be in the Same Runtime folder that holds your V4.2 figure. If not the morph will fail.
EDIT: That is why my V4 clothing folder is a SUB folder of my V4 figure folder. Injection morphs must be in the same mapped folder as the figure to work.
I upgraded my OS, and did a restore of my apps from my backup.
I am thinking my install short cuts were not that great.
That and a couple of mess ups on installing stuff from Renderosity could be the problem. I put SAV Scalps in the wrong place a couple of times before I got it right.
I don't want to have to install each item again one at a time.
"Same Runtime folder that holds your V4.2 figure. If not the morph will fail."
Wait? What?
But I only have 1 runtime folder
C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library\Runtime\Libraries\!DAZ
Why would I have more than 1?
You Do of course have the Full V4.2 loaded?
Just load the full V4.2 and let it load.
In the Scene tab select the Figure. The NAME of the figure not a part of it.
Now go to the corset morph injector. Double click it.
Now open the V4.2 figure in Parameters and see if the Morph injected in any of the sections of V4. If it Did your in business.
I just reinstalled everything, and I am not even sure if it looks the way it should.
Can you show me what I should see if the Morph injected right? A screen shot?
I just realized I don't know what broken and non-broken looks like.
I re-installed it, and it looks pretty much the same. I see settings show up, but just not where I would expect and they do things I would not expect.
Like this, first with the morph injected and 2nd with no morph
If the INJ morph is working the figure should fit inside the corset. You do have Victoria 4 selected when you apply the pose? Are you using the Power Loader for Victoria 4 - that is, is there a scroll icon at top-left of the thumbnail for Victoria 4.2 in Poser Formats>My Library (or whatever)>Figures>DAZ People?
This has me confused. I seem to be doing everything, but not getting the results other people are.
I inject the morph. It changes shape like in your picture, and it still does not fit.
The breasts still pop through the suit and the corset. The boots even don't fit properly.
Oh, the Scroll Icon means PowerLoader. Yup. That is there.
I was wondering about that. The genesis figures don't have that, and I thought maybe I installed the wrong thing.
Are there certain morphs to select and ignore? Should I pick all or none or some morphs?
I have to apply mesh smoothing, and set it to 10 and then Tweak a lot of fixes to get something that is still far from looking right. What are magnets?
All that tweaking and adjustments strikes me as odd, because the fixes look to be labeled for other body shapes like Aiko, and I am using what is suppose to be the default.
What does your figure look like in the default pose with just the bodysuit, corset, and boots?
Mine is a wreck in the chest and calves. Pop through all over the place.
Do I need to buy the Stephanie 4 Elite body or something?
If you get the PowerLoader dialogue make sure you have Legacy Injection channels checked - if you don't get the dialogue, hold down the ctrl key (cmd on mac) while double-clicking on the Victoria 4.2 file.
You do not Need S4 Elite but the clothing is made for that shape to fit fully. You will need to use the Morph++ that you do have to edit the V4 by hand, dial the breast to proper size, the calves to proper size once the clothing is on V4 before they will look and work correctly. The default V4 is not the same shape as S4 Elite, some shaping by you will be needed with just V4 on your PC.
