Online Lessons: missing content

I installed a few online lessons via the download manager and I cant see them in the lessons menu.

So I manually downloaded the lesson file and it was added to the list of lessons, but when I want to start one, it says that I am missing the various content parts. But when I look in the download manager, everything is there.

What am I supposed to do?

Hello friend, uninstall lessons from Dim. Then manually install lessons content.

Does the path you are installing products in in DAZ Install Manager match the paths in DS? What version of DS are you using?

I uninstalled DAX and installed it again (via DIM, use default settings for everything). Then I clicked on the link to install the Sci-Fi warrior tutorial and got this (see picture).

Then, when I go in DS and click the lesson refresh button, I see the lesson but when I click on it, it still says I am missing 8 files required for the bundle but these are those listed as installed in DIM.

Before uninstalling DAZ, I had purchased content from DAZ and downloaded/installed it successfully from DIM.

I am a total newbie with DS, so if you ask a question, you will have to make it extra dumb if you want me to get the correct information! :-)

BTW, in case this is relevant, I am on a Mac, OSX Mavericks and Daz is 4.6.2.120 Pro 64 bits.

Thanks for the help, I really want to learn DS and going thru these tutorials seems to be the fastest way to build my skills.

Can you post these 2 screenshots:
    1) In DS, Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager, expand the "DAZ Studio Formats" and "Poser Formats"
    2) In DIM, on Ready to Install tab check the "Show Details" box in the lower right

BTW, preferences were under the Daz Studio Menu, not Edit.

    Mac vs. PC difference there.

I figured that out too ;-) Also, there is a bug in the mac version where you dont see the icons in the menus unless you hover over them

You appear to be missing Default Lights and Shaders for DAZ Studio Typing sku::13176 in either your product library on the website or in Install Manager should show it, unless it is hidden in ready to download in Install Manager or Install Manager is not logged in. .

Also what version of DS are you using?

    Update!

I dont know why but after reopening the DIM to see if the missing Default light was hidden somewhere, I saw a bunch of new stuff to download. I downloaded everything and now it works!

Thanks for the help, now time to learn!

I am glad you got it worked out.

You had certain products in your search bar in the first Install Manager Screenshot. With that filter set, you weren't going to see everything.
