How and where did you install the 3 Starter Essentials packs?

Also are you getting any error messages popping up when you try to load them? Usually the "Grey Block" issue is from DS not finding all the data folder information it needs.

I am having the same problem, the program cant find the file Genesis2Female.dsf
    in... /data/DAZ 3D/Genesis 2/Female
    The file is located in Users/public/Public Documents/My DAZ 3D Library/data/DAZ 3D/Genesis 2/Female
I used the Install manager to install everything. First with default settings then with custom settings. Still does the same thing.

So in order to get it to work I had to add
    C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library
    to Preferences > Content Library
under Content Directory Manager Button. > Current Directories>DAZ Studio Formats

Basically you open the window after you click on the button, then click on the arrow beside Current Directories, then click on the arrow for DAZ Studio Formats... then on the left under Directory click the Add button and type in the correct path to where the file is located.

I dont know why the application installs to a location that it is not set to read at defaults. It was originally looking into my user account not the public folder. Maybe its an old preference from a previous version.

For Default installs your Paths in DAZ Studio should look like this for everything to work properly...

    Paths_Both_Default.png
    429 x 467 - 62K

That's exactly it -- a clean install of DS has both paths, but if DS was installed previously it keeps whatever the previous settings were.
