Can't Remove Daz to Install Fresh

I've been experiencing many bugs with Daz recently and especially with DIM. Now DIM won't remove any content. When I click to uninstall everything, it begins uninstalling, and just when it completes, all of a sudden all the files are back there. The same happened when I tried to install some products from the Daz store. Is there any way to get this done manually, without any risks? Thanks!

I can't even install Daz Studio from Daz Website. The download button always takes me to my account page and I can't get that link.

When you say "the files are back there", do you mean the actual files are still in your content folder, or that DIM shows them as installed?

As for downloading from the website, if your password is less than 7 characters, change it to a stronger one.  If it already is more than 7 characters, log out and log back in again.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. The files appear in the DIM only. I manually deleted everything in the Daz Library folder(shift delete) but the files are still there (showing in the DIM installer). My password is more than characters but I will try to change it anyways. I am backing up my files preparing for full drive cleaning unless someone comes up with a solution. Thanks again.

It looks like DIM is unable to write to its Manifestfiles folder (where it records what it has installed) -- apparently it isn't being permitted to delete the files when it uninstalls a product.  That can happen if it was run with Administrator at one time -- it should never be run as Admin.
