    Seems a little callous and jaded. I'm managing pretty well on a 980TI. 2816 CUDA cores, typically runs @ >1300 MHz during a render. Granted it's 6GB VRAM, but that's not that cripling unless one is determined to be Pixar.

    Some folks are really pressed for cash.

    I don't care what it seems like. truth is truth.

    980 ti is 3 generations old and is on eBay right now for $150 to $200. That's the same price range as a 1650 or 1660. They will both perform nearly as well, if not better than the 980ti and not have years of wear and tear reducing their lifespan.
