Is there a way to temporarly make some surface a "grid" to use Ctrl-D for align? I mean the "Align pane" is more then just useless (you will simply lose a lot of time and everything will end in a frustration), but Ctrl-D seems to be useful.

    No. What issues are you having with the Align pane?

    It's like a win on in a casino to guess which option what does *and* which axe wich is in a certain case.

    Edit: Most simple example - I am trying to use the align panel to put a cup on the table and no matter where I click nothing happens.
