Fitting V1 and M1 clothes to V6 M6?

Ok I did a few searches and I couldn't find anything. So excuse me if this has been asked before. How difficult is it to have V1/V2, M1/M2 clothes fit a V6 M6? V4/M4 to V5/M5 or V6/M6 I know all about. But I am not sure about M1/V1. Never tried going back that far.

To my knowledge it can't be done
I have been doing it but it is not an out the box process
I am however so far happy with the results.
Male 3Dmedia suggested the idea
you use a figure the clothes fit, scale and morph it to match Genesis as close as possible
add smoothing to the clothes coliding with genesis not the figure fitted to
click eye icons shut on both figures not the clothes
export obj no hidden invisible mesh checked
reimport and use transfer utility
save as support asset
It might be possible to convert them to V4/M4 using WW or Cross dresser and then autofit them to Genesis Genesis2.
Ouch ok, as I feared it is a bit more work than I want to mess with at this point. If I had a M1 and V1 I might give Wendy's method a try. But since I don't want to buy another figure right now, I will just let it slide.
Thanks everyone.
They don't sell generation 1 or 2 figures anymore. You had to had to purchase it in the past to have them.
V1 is available in the store, but as far as I know, M1, M2, and V2 are no longer available.
I did a search and nothing came up. Gotta love the search feature sometimes. All I saw was V3 and up
