If you are only talking about creating an image then yes, I mix and match all the time. If you are talking about using a skin texture for a character package you are going to SELL or place on the market, then you need to read the original author's legal README posts to see if their stuff is resellable (which usually it is not).
So again, it depends if you are talking more for personal use or commercial use...
EDIT: And damn, HeraldofFire is fast, LOL...beat me to it ;)

Thank you,mithoron.
I am talking rendering...
Since I dislike some character's skin texture, I would like to replace them if it is OK...
BTW, If use it to render 2D images, can I still sell these 2D images?

Yes, if you are only selling the images, you can use whatever textures you want. Typically in the image's properties I'll state which packages I use to give the original author credit where credit is due. Again, read through each of the README EULA's, but that is the fun of 3D rendering, mixing and matching and coming up with something unique.
I think we all have some "favorites" and "standby" textures we all fall back on regardless of what character morphs we're using ;)
In fact, I've now gotten to the point where I'll even change the texture of clothing and surfaces beyond skin to give things a unique look.
Yes, absolutely for your 'Own' renders. Even some of the promo pics in the store use different skins to showcase there figure shape packages.
And as long as credit is acknowledged for what you used, 'Most' people will be happy with that for your renders.
Case and point, here we have the W.I.P. 'G2F6W1022', she dose not have a name yet, the file name is to help me remember what parts were used. FWArt/Sabby Wachiwi Skin and Hair (Braids set to 0% opacity), Bree brown eyes, Face and body made with the (I lost count) many face and body morphs I’ve purchased for G2F, and I'm probably forgetting more.
"O" and you can change the cloths textures as well, Here I copied a portion of the Wilmap shirt top texture, and tiled it onto the JS-Pants.
The scene is also a W.I.P revamp of my first "Casting Reflections", it consists of just primitives for the moment. Most of the primitives will stay as such once I fish adjusting there reflectivity and position for the larger 'set'. The original 'C.R.' was only twenty feet wide and ten feet tall, this one is about fifty feet wide and twenty feet tall with a balcony for observers or something, lol.
Mixing up things is part of the fun. There is even a phrase to describe that, Kit Bashing. You are allowed to mix all you like as long as it is for your own use.
That happens sometimes. You'll get better at paying attention to those details as you go along. I wouldn't worry about it too much. You might want to save scene files so you can pull them up later and see what is what if you need to.

Thank you, RitaCeleste.
The reason I want to know which morph was used to create the girl are
1. I want to credit the product in the DAZ's gallery.
2. I want to know who is the vender of that good product.
BTW, is there any way to track back to find out which head morph I have used?
If you have the Scene File, select the figure in the Scene Tab then in the Parameters Tab do Currently Used, at the bottom or mixed in will be the USER side morphs with un-locked Dials and the name of the morphs used...

Thank you,Jaderail.
I finally found that she is "GwenythH" (+ Genesis Basic Female).
In Smart Content with that Figure Morph under your Pointer and do Right Click. Do the Product View and that will list the Product Name in the Top of the Pane. See below...
She may not be in the smart-content tab, if she didn't get sold with 'whatever that programing is called'
Very probable... I did not take third party content into account. Leochen I was thinking you at least knew which icon you used to load to genesis, if not I have no other idea how to get the name from inside DAZ Studio. I'm sorry.

As long as you're not distributing them you can do as you please. Mixing and matching different materials on different figures is all part of the fun.
Thank you, HeraldOfFire.
BTW, Is there any official statement about this?

I do it all the time, as do many others. This is why there are so many character sets around, to be used in this way.
Thank you,mithoron.

PS: That is why I bought a lot chacters, some for shapes, some for skin textures.....

You can say that again...
I can not agree more.
Thank you, zarcondeegrissom.
The problem is that it is not impossible to acknowlede the credit for the used products sometimes.
The other problem is that is it possible to track back the texture and morph used.
For example, I just forget which head morph I have used in http://www.daz3d.com/gallery/#images/25978.
PS: Genesis female basic + ???

But which product is "GwenythH"? :red:

I still don't know which is Miss GwenythH. :red:
Random guess, based on 'G006le' assuming a typo. 'Gwyneth'?
http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/sv7-gwyneth/86009
She may not be in the smart-content tab, if she didn't get sold with 'whatever that programing is called'
Thank you,Jaderail and zarcondeegrissom.
I do have a lot of SV7, more than 18 characters.
But I just don't have SV7 Gwyneth!
BTW, She is GwenythH, not Gwyneth.
Duplicate id “Gwenyth” found in file “/data/DAZ 3D/Genesis/Base/Morphs/Silver/Gwenyth/Gwenyth.dsf”
And you see the name on the 'morph slider' or somewhere in the shaping tab, so she is a real figure from somewhere.
If not "Gwenyth Characters Themed Silver" (another found this morning),
http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/gwenyth/99737
then possibly the slider is included with another figure. (Like the "Fae Ears" included with FW Eve in my computer).
Thank you,zarcondeegrissom.
yourwelcome.
'And see the name', and you see the name. It's first cup of coffee here.
