Compatibility Question


On the Hexagon 2.5 Tech Specs page it states


Windows®

Mac®


•Pentium 3 Processor (or equivalent) or greater
•1.5 GHz (2.5 GHz or faster recommended)
•Windows XP, 2000 (SP2+)
•512 MB RAM min (1GB+ recommended)
•500 MB free hard drive space for installation
•OpenGL compatible graphics card with at least 128 MB RAM (256 MB+ recommended



I am using Windows 7 Home Premium. Will Hexagon work with my system?

    Works OK on my Windows 7 Professional, so should work for you.

    Yes, works on all my W7 computers. AFAIK works on W8 too.
    Recommended to install it on the C drive though, NOT inside the official program folders.
    Also it is a 32 bit program. On 64bit systems, there are a couple of large address aware utilities available online somewhere to enable the program to use a little more memory.

    Is my tool of choice for my mesh twiddling on Win7 Pro as well. Works pretty good once you learn it.
