I am trying to make a darker skinned Victoria 6 character. Can this be done w/ skin shaders, or what?

    I'm curious as well.

I went and purchased the 'wachiwi' set for a darker skin to start out. At least with her, you can load the full 'wachiwi' figure actor, and then go into the morph settings and dial the preset dial down and dial up one of the other figure shapes that have sliders (or your own morph settings of choice).

Also I could probably just find the 'Diffuse' texture jpg file, load it up in PhotoDeluxe/PhotoShop and adjust the brightness/contrast/Hue manually, then save the file with another name. Then go back into Daz Studio, load up the figure, and change the Difuse skin texture to the new one made. (I'm to lazy for all of that, I'd rather buy darker skin).

Example from the CAD/DAW comp. This is the Wachiwi skin texture on a completely custom G2F figure I'm working on. I have a long way to go, I am shooting for a figure resembling a 'South American' decent.

You can Also try this little trick. Apply the Skin texture of your choice to your figure. Open the Surfaces Tab. In the Diffuse Color channel of all the Diffuse Surface textures change the Color from White to a different tone.

That is allot easier then adjusting each and every diffuse skin jpg externally.

"O" another fun trick, change the color of the lights (RGB Slightly like 192 threw 255)

The Wachiwi character has separate head morphs so you don't need to apply the whole body morph in order to use the head shape. Like you, I never use the body shapes supplied with characters, I always use my own custom body morphs, based on the G2F body morphs. The skin tone presets should work on any V6/G2F character, not just Wachiwi.
