How can I load Gen3 clothing with Genesis Gen 3 Iconic Shapes pack?

Hi all,

I'm a new user. I recently purchased some Generation 3 clothing (Hell Bent for Leather, Steampunk Cowboy, and some other cowboy stuff for Generation 3 characters. I also have the Genesis Generation 3 Iconic shape pack. But- when I load the Genesis figure and then adjust it to a Generation 3 shape and try to add the clothing nothing will load. Any ideas? Is there some trick to this? Most of my other content is easy to just drag and drop and auto-adjust but all of the Gen3 clothing is refusing to work with me. Any suggestions would be great!

I am using Daz Studio 4.6 (most recent update) on a Mac.

    That pack adds the Generation 3 Auto-Fit clones so should work (does for me). Select the clothing in the Scene tab then in the Parameters tab check that the clothing is Fit-To Genesis (I believe the Fit-To option is under Misc). Another option is to right-click on the clothing in the viewport to bring up the Fit-To option (this is how I do it). By the way if clothing is not fitting automatically it usually means CMS isn't working (I have CMS disabled which is why I use the viewport method).

    CMS? And where is the setting?

    If nothing (apparently) happens, make sure you are loading the clothing figures and not the material settings. These old items will be in Poser format, so if you are loading from the Content Library pane they will be in Poser Formats>My DAZ 3D Library>Figures>Some folder.

    Thanks for the suggestions! It turned out I was trying to load a bunch of MATs instead of the wardrobe file.
