Learning Animate?

I'm trying to learn Animate, but having some trouble. I've managed to plug some aniblocks into a timeline, and even bake them to keyframes, but just for one character. I can't seem to get unblocks to work for another character in the scene. Is that simply a limitation of the "lite" version? Sometimes I'll get two timelines...one for each character...and sometimes when I push the PLUS to add a timeline it says that function is not available in the Lite version. So I can have one character through a punch...but not the other get hit?

The Lite version is very limited. So for what you are doing it might be limited to the one figure. But I thought only saving new AniBlocks was stopped.

This is how to test if two figures are doable, I can not test it as I have the Full version. Add two figures to your Scene, and select one in the Scene Tab, open AniMate Lite, you will have a timeline for it. Now select the second Figure in the Scene Tab and see if the plus adds a timeline for it. The figure needs selected before a timeline will be added with the add funtion.

I hope that was all you were missing.

I was hoping for a quick fix for one shot, but looks like i'll have to install Animate2. I have it on one machine, but not my newer "animation" mac.

Animate 2 is installed along with DS, you just need to enter a serial number to unlock the non-Lite features.
