Subject: Lua updo not playing nicely with GF8

Hi folks! Any chance you can help me get rid of the odd, bluish residue at the front of the Lua Updo prop, on the forehead of GF8? This is in Daz 4.12.0.86. Thanks in advance

My guess is it is the haircap.

Is this an Iray or 3DL render, and is the materials matching that?

It's an Iray render. I've tried all sorts of things to try to bypass it. I've switched the shader to an Iray über base, wich preserves the textures associated with the hair (in other words, I'm not starting from scratch), but I still have the same problem. I can get rid of the problem by scaling the hair to 110%, but by that point it's obviously too large for GF8's head

  • I'm not so swift at the DAZ Studio stuff, But I'd imagine the transparency map isn't 100% black (or white) in the areas that are showing. Can you open that up in your image editor and confirm? Different apps handle that differently. Perhaps there is also a clipping map  I dunno, but I'd start there as it is "almost" correct
