Expressions not creating Keyframes in Animations (Generation 4 Figures)

Hey all.

Been having a bit of trouble making an animation. I've just about figured out how to get translations and other transforms to auto-create a keyframe, but for some reason, loading in expressions from saves or products is not adding a keyframe.

I load in an expression at Frame 10, I have to remember that I loaded it in there because I can't 'jump to next keyframe' or see it on the timeline. I've tried every kind of option under key creation scope, have 'Monitor Parameters Pane' selected and still can't seem to find why it's not auto-creating.

Anyone else had this? Better yet, anyone got a fix?

 

[Edit] This is with V4. Not Genesis. I don't use any of the Genesis figures, so any advice with Genesis might not be so relevant anymore :(
