Texture appear grey in viewport but render fine

Hey everyone, sorry to bother ya, but after looking around on the forum I saw no subject that could help me.
I found a new texture for my genesis 2 female figure, that change her eyes color, with a button to click and it activate on its own.
Problem is:
When I click the button, the eyes of my figure turn grey, every surface of them.
So I went to render to see what it showed me, and I discovered it does render just fine, but the viewport only show me grey.
It's very unpractical for me since I can't see what variation I make, if I modify the diffuse strength etc...
So if anyone know why that happen, and how to solve it, I'd be very thankful
have a nice one!

Most likely this is a procedural shader and will not show up until it is rendered. What product/shader is it?
Actual eyes 4 for genesis 2 (male and female)
oh well yes, there you go Procedural shaders so no you will not be able to see anything until you render.
I can confirm that is how they should work, gorgeous results.
alright, well I'll have to grin and bare then, thanks for the quick answer :)
I set up the eyes, direction etc first then I load the material presets. All the previous Actual Eyes do this so I am not surprised 4 does as well.
I have the same thing that happens in Poser. The piece will show the actual map instead of the texture but renders fine
I have the same product and experiance the same thing. "Texture appear grey in viewport" However when I go to render my eyes render completely white I am using nvidia Iray to render , any Ideas? I have attached a sample, any help would be amazing thank you!!!
The Actual Eyes product doesn't work in Iray its set up for 3Delight.
