How can I find and archive Daz Studio install files?

It’s useful to have several versions of Daz Studio available for testing products I want to release.

I understand that Daz Studio will only allow one version from the beta channel and one from the full release channel per operating system instance.

And when I upgrade one of those, it wipes out the prior version.

So I want to archive the prior versions before upgrading, just in case I need to re-install it for testing and what-not.

So where are the installer files so I can archive them?

You can download the current installers from the product library section of your account on the site.

That will get you the standalone installers (exe). If you want to use DIM to install, copy (from your Package Archive folder) the installation .zips (IM00013176*) and any plugins that you need that are dependent on the version of Studio (like Measure Metrics, Decimator, Goz for Daz Studio, etc.)

What is the path to my Package Archive folder?

Check your DIM Settings: Basic: second line, Package Archive. Click on it to open a file explorer in that folder.
