Saving Face-morph settings without Poser?

I managed to fumble threw the various Morph packages for Studio 4.6 Genisses2 with practically nonexistent documentation to create some faces I would like to apply to a figure without involving the entire body.
The limited explanation on the manual website seams to imply That I need to export the face morph settings to Poser, then use Poser to import them back into Studio as just a face-morph preset of sorts. I don't have Poser, just Studio 4.6?
Am I completely misunderstanding that "How To Create (and save) Face Morphs For Beginners", or is that only possible to do if I have both programs? Also, None of the pics linked on that page load.

Where are you getting this? It may be telling you to use the Poser Format exporter to save a .fc2 file, then to load that into DS, but if so it is probably looking at the earlier figures - Genesis and later have all their shaping morphs on the root node, so that wouldn't work.

Sorry, I Forgot to put the link in.
Got-ya, so I need a tone of sticky-notes to wright down the exact value of each one of the head and face morph slider values. Then load the intended '6' base figure, and hope the sliders can all be adjusted the same as they were on the plane old G2 figure.
P.S.
Can someone pleas update the manual pages to indicate that they don't apply to Genesis and Genesis 2 figures. The lacking documentation for beginners of just Studio and nothing else is really starting to get irritating.
It would at least be nice to know what combination of slider values were used to create the faces in the face-morph products preview pictures in the store. As a basis of how to get started with the morph package. 12 Faces of Genesis 2 Female(s), FW Eve, Genesis 2 Female Body Morphs, Genesis 2 Female Head Morphs...
As I thought, that's saving to a Poser-format fiel using the free Poser Format Exporter script. I'm not sure why it's using that rather than the native format, and as I feared it is going to work only for the older figures where the shaping morphs are on the head - it won't help you with Genesis 2 Female. What you can do is use File>Save as>Shaping Preset, set the filename, then in the options dialogue click the option menu button, marked in the screenshot, then go to Uncheck>Uncheck All to remove everything, then in the lower section expand Genesis 2 female (sorry, I had Genesis loaded for this), Actor, and I think G2F has a head group - just check that by clicking the box to select all the head morphs, leaving all of the body morphs off. You can use a similar approach with Pose presets for expressions.
Thank you, that was so much simpler then the mess described on that other page.
Now I just need to figure out where the 12 faces went, or is that only more morph sliders. As mentioned before, nothing to go on with the product other then the files pored into Studio by that installer thing.
Same with that "Eve" package, Tho I did notice an "Eve ear" slider and I think two others in the face morphs settings.
The page you linked to isn't an official manual page - it's part of the old user-submitted tutorials, which have only partially converted to the new wiki (hence the lack of images). I suspect it simply pre-dates the newer figures.
