Problem with content library

My character folders with the models in it in my content library are suddendly empty. everything else like clothes, hairs, props and all the other content is still there but the character models are gone. does anyone know what happened? i'm pretty sure i didn't delete those accidently.

This is under Daz Studio Formats? It does sound as if the folder was accidentally deleted or moved, assuming it was all in the same content directory.

looked up the files on the hard drive, they are still there and alive. but the content is not visible in daz studio for some reason. only thing visible are the materials.
