NEED LIVE HELP!

Install Manager will not download and install content into DAZ Studio 4.6 on windows 7 64 bit laptop. I also have a folder with a Bryce object on my desktop that I don't know how to install into Bryce.
DAZ no longer gives live help. The back and forth with the emails has set me back over a week and I'm still no closer to getting started than I was a week ago. Can ANYBODY out there talk me through this?
Ken

Hi Ken, have you tried to do manual install ? Can you post up screenshots or images of what's happening ? What errors, etc.... Someone will be able to assist.

As for Bryce, visit the Bryce section of the forum. Software > Bryce discussion.

You do know that the DAZ Install Manager (DIM) installs by default to C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library

You say that the DIM will not download and install? Why not? Do you get an error when you try to download? Much more information is needed to help you.

Always use the New Users Forum here when you need help, it is much quicker.

Can you post a screen shot of your Applications tab and Downloads tab in DIM?

Let me give a suggestion- when you post, monitor your thread as often as you can and see when people are responding. I know that fixmypcmike and jaderail were both on the ball when I was having trouble (and even when I'm not, lol) and we were going back and forth every few minutes. I usually post something like "I'm trying it and will be right back" and folks get more of a feel of whether I'm absent or still there. It's certainly not required and the moderators have SO many threads to cover, they are amazing at what they keep up with- but they aren't mind readers and haven't a clue unless you post that you have even read their advice!

Screenshots are very helpful too. :)

Thank you everybody. I was able to get in touch with someone that took the time to get me through this. We found out the there was a setting on my laptop that was the root of the problem. It took 3hrs but my friend held my hand through it. Not being tech savvy, I would have never found the problem on my own. After that we took a break. My nerves were fried and brain was oatmeal. Today I work on Bryce. Wish me luck.

    Thank you again, everybody.

For Bryce content I strongly suggest the Bryce Forums and the free Tutorial by DavidB on installing and configuring the Bryce content properly. It is very easy to follow once you get started.
