Is it safe to upgrade to Catalina?
I've stuck with Mojave because I've invested far too much money (and it's a great deal of money) to lose access to that content only to find that Studio won't work well or at all without OpenGL in Mac's Catalina OS. I would like some sort of official answer from DAZ. Will Apple's Metal graphics language be supported by Studio? I'm noticing some stability issues with Mohave, frequent system crashes since Catalina was released, and I need to upgrade. These crashes are becoming far more frequent.
What's the answer DAZ? You've gotten a whole lot of money from me over the years and you owe me and every one of your Mac customers an answer. WILL METAL BE SUPPORTED?
And I appreciate attempts by the Studio user communithy to answer this question BUT THAT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH and this needs an OFFICIAL response from DAZ directly.
I suspect this post may be deleted by a moderator because my other attempt to find this out was. That's not a good sign.

Asking the forum for an official answer is pointless, for that you have to contact customer support. I suspect that's why your previous thread was locked.
The forums are user-to-user - if you want an answer from Daz you need to ask Daz. I can tell you that DS is working in Catalina for at least some users, though there are issues with anything using file dialogues (which are fixed in the current DS 4.12.1 Public Build).
