Re-installing DAZ & Assets: Are the "DSON importer for Poser" Needed?

I don't have Poser, don't use it.

So, I am re-installing DAZ, and I have noticed that there are two install files for the same asset sitting in the DIM basket... for example
Druidic Princess Outfit.

There are two packages.  One says
Package ID: 1
TAGS:DAZ Studio 4.5+, DSON importer for Poser

And the other is
Package ID: 2
Tags: DSON importer for Poser

If I am not using Poser, do I need to install Package ID 2 at all? (would that have an adverse affect on how DAZ 4.12 runs?)

Or am I just making this harder for myself in the long run and should just quell my Computer Organization OCD fears and install both an move on?

Thanks, In Advance.

If you are not using Poser, you shoudn't need to install either of them...

DSON is the format Daz studio uses, not just poser via the importer.

If the second package is only tagged for the importer it's probably a "poser companion file" with poser materials, so not needed in DS. But the first file tagged with both is most certainly the "DSON core" file with the actual DS files, in which case you definitely need it.
