Vanishing Point had freebies that were similar.
    Found it!, on shareCG: http://www.sharecg.com/v/14803/poser/Toy-Boxes

    Thanks; the Blisters are great.
The big blister box is also something I was looking for but unfortunately it doesn't load correct. It alwas loads with 3 additional sides (one in front and one on the top side and another at the bottom side) wich I can't get rid off.

The additional (useless) frontside can be rotated back but not completely and only while rotating the correct frontside back, too.
I don't know how to solve the problem...

Unfortunately, I get the same thing.

I turned the 'door' and 'top' off but then you lose all the resale value with an open box. :-)

Hmm.. if you happen to have Hexagon. Load the mesh and have it fix Ngons if any. And then try it in DS again. Or whatever the Fix is to correct the its not a quad thing. I've been awake way to long to be sure of the proper term right now.

That's nearly the same effect as with rotated sides.

How did you turn off the sides, prixat?
I tried this first but didn't not find out how to do this... it always deleted the entire box.

Yes Jaderail; I have the free Hexagon download... but never installed and tried it... so I'm not sure if I can handle this.

Sorry I'm really not trying to butt in. This is just a cool concept for me that I never thought of. I normally don't use freebies but I downloaded it and got the same thing. I was able to turn off the door like Prixat did. Here is the screen shot. You can expand the options on the right and turn off the two items to get the same effect as Prixat.

I did also export it to Hexagon and deleted the portions but when I saved and tried to open in Studio there were no textures nor could I put any on.

I know basically nothing about Hexagon and how all of this works yet so my experiment doesn't mean anything.

I am really curious about this so I will work with it today. Even if I have to try and make my own it's a way cool idea.

Meanwhile I find out how to delete the the front and top in the surface Editor by Setting the opacity strenght to 0, ending up with the same result, door and top are completly gone.

The best result I can get so far is with the posing editor but this only works for a front view... if the point of view is changed only a little the box looks bad

Using the Polygon Group Editor, you can select the offending distorted poly and right click. The visibility of the individual poly can be turned off.

Its a quick and dirty fix, but you may be able to get away with it.

Hey prixat; you got it. That's great. Thank you.

And by unlocking the override any Controllers in the posing/ editor/ rotation/ OpenClose you can close the box without loosing the grafic on the top and bottom.
