Moved Runtime to different drive, no thumbnails

I'm hardly a new user, just new at moving Runtime content to a storage device! When I did so, none of the icons/thumbnails show up. Can anyone explain why?
My DS3 can see the folders fine on the storage drive, but no images. I reckon I'm breaking a basic rule of engagement.
As an experiment, and this suggests a clue, I moved one prop folder to Drive D (everything has been on Drive C so far) and still couldn't see the icon image.

Do you have the new path to your runtime folder listed as a Poser Formats folder in DAZ Studio?
In DS3, you go to Edit > Preferences > Directories, and make sure the new location is listed under BOTH formats (DAZ Studio and Poser). The blue bar at the top (Content Type) is a drop-down menu.
Yes, Jimmy, I have the directories set for both formats. I can browse to the folders no problem, just not seeing the content -- no icons to click on.
Did you Re-Import the MetaData? First of course the old database needs to go or do a reset Database in DS one. Then try the Re-Import and see...
MetaData? In DS3? What would that be, Jade? And what do you mean "the old database needs to go"?
Opps Sorry, I get stuck in the DS4 mindset. DS3 should just read. I never had a issue with 3.
No worries. I am starting to feel quite archaic here.
Can you post screenshots of your Content Directory Manager DAZ Studio Formats and Poser Formats? What's the full path to one of the items which isn't showing?
Okay! My apologies to Mike and Jade but especially to JimmyC, who actually provided the solution in the first place. I did NOT, as it turned out, have the directories aligned to Poser Content as well as DAZ, and when I added that, the icons/thumbnail DID appear.
So this issue appears to be resolved and I heartily thank everyone for their help!
DS3 and DS4 do it in different ways, so we get confused here sometimes too :)
Glad it's working.
