I've attached 3 pictures of this bad shoulder bend. I don't know how to fix it in daz studio. I would much appreciate any suggestions.
This is a G8F figure in DS 4.12 Pro. A smoothing modifier has minimal effect.

That looks like an adjustment kicking in when it shouldn't, the figure doesn't usually bend like that. with the bend that shows the issue applied to an othewise zeroed figure, assumng the problem shows, go to the Parameters pane and from the option menu (the line button in the top corner, or right-click the tab) turn on Show Hidden Parameters, then click in the Currently Used group and go through zeroing them until (hopefully) you find the one(s) that cause the issue - what are they called?
Thank you, Richard. Your expertise and willingness to help have been, yet again, invaluable to me.
The culprits here were pJCMShldrDown_40_L and pJCMShldrDown_40_R. Setting them to zero reduced the raggedness of the bend. I could not find any other parameter that improved it further. But I may be able to fix what remains with mesh grabber.
Those are, I think, standard morphs - I would suspect that soemthign else is involved, most likely a joint correction for a shape (which may be tricky to track down. One way to confirm this is to enable the display of bones and see if they line up with the geometry - switch to the Joint Editor tool, and if you don't see all the bones (as 3D, elongated kite shapes) go to the Tool Settings pane and at the bottom set the Visible Bones button to Entire Figure.
