    @barbult  Sure! Love having everyone's input and renders- appreciate all of you very much in your support of the threads. Wow, it's been since 2012- eight years this past September. I like the lighting on that image and the camera angle view, looking slightly up. Makes the viewer feel like they are there. 

    @robertfriese  Thanks for the heads up on the store changeover. I am frantically downloading all my stuff I've bought in the past two weeks :)  Thank goodness for a zippy internet speed LOL.

    I love the comment the store order numbers are going to be larger. Goodness, as if they aren't big enough now!  I wonder how this will affect the Daz Deal plugin. I haven't gone to that thread yet, but I imagine things will have to be revamped. 

    I don't post to the galleries often, but all I can hope for is they don't screw those up, or the forums. Years ago, didn't all the previous forums get completely wiped out? I had just started on Daz in 2012 and I vaguely remember all that being lost. What year was that?

    I'm going to be paranoid, aka "Better safe than sorry" and do a "view source" and copy all the reference  posts from my front page. If the forums get messed up, I haven't lost all that work. If there's something you spent a lot of time on (aka, Rich, @RGcincy  your city thread comes to mind) with a lot of links or tutorials, you might want to back up those posts. I'm grabbing the source code because I don't know if a simple copy/paste would retain the links, whereas the source code has them built in. This isn't a bad idea regardless of whether the store/forums are going down for a bit due to store changeover, sites can be hacked or whacko things happen so having a lot of work backed up is always a good idea.

    Edit- it only took me 8 minutes to snag all that source code. I'm going through and doing screenshots of my images in this thread, and perhaps the previous one, as I was going to do that anyway since I lost all my renders and scene files (that external hard drive being dropped.) Nows as good of time as any to at least get copies of my art. :)  I had also noted some of the light settings in the posts,  and that's good to have too.

    DAZ 3D said earlier (RAW_B I think it was) that the forum SW isn't changing but the token exchange between the store & the forum that indicates whether a person is logged in might need to change.

    Got https://www.daz3d.com/warrin-hd-for-genesis-8-male today, and gave him a quick render (hair is https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-togatta-hair-for-genesis-8 which I hadn't rendered before) - he really IS pretty...

    @Novica and all others who post product reviews here, or just take the time to talk about product and link to them. The Novica threads are my primary source of information for recommendations and warnings for products, or just that someone used an item and how they used it in a manner different than the original promo images. This is often a selling point when I look at older items pre-Iray. So thank you.

    I am also thinking it might be good to check your store credit page and take a screen shot, just as a back-up.

    I think I can take the hit if store credit goes wrong in the update :-) Only 67 cents left...

     

    (yes, I know... others do currently have slightly larger amounts sitting there - it is good advice)

    Yeah, I just bought my November credit balance. I also did a print out of my wishlist. I lost it once already, trying to fix Ati's add-on. So, I will just have to hope my orders come through okay. But I got a shock when I saw the price tag of how much I have bought! That PC+ does pay for itself over time.

    Dang it, I'm getting signed out when I leave the store and try to visit the forums. That wasn't happening to me prior to "TC" (THE CHANGE!) 

    Kudos to them restoring the Product Library pages in some fashion. Now we can scroll up and down in a dedicated section which lists what is included.  However (and I'm still scrolling through that massive store change thread)  the order date and number isn't on the page anymore. Easy come, fast to go...

    One thing I'm seeing in other threads, which I do want to comment on here. When products are pulled, then the error happens again, I try to refrain from making remarks about the vendor.  I do NOT know the situation, and I'm not going to throw shade on a vendor when products are pulled in these complicated sales.   In this case, Sickleyield.  Sickleyield is a real gem- she comes on the threads and responds to questions, helping people,  and doing the best she can. I try to remember she has to deal with Daz's less-than-perfect store too- and that was before TC.  BUT- just because she comes on the forums, doesn't mean she LIVES here like many of us do. She's not going to see every remark made,  and my posts are not going to take the tone of her owing me an explanation or she owes me this and owes me that. She doesn't owe me squat. DAZ IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CONTENT MALFUNCTIONS, NOT THE VENDOR.

    She even posted on the forums about whether the products were intended to be included, and she didn't HAVE TO DO THAT. Then products were pulled again- and that's DAZ. So let's try to be kind to each other and give the benefit not of doubt, but of certainty that it is DAZ who is responsible for clear communications with the vendor, and with listing the products. @sickleyield thank you for all you do for us.

    @robertfriese    I had that same thing, then after I clicked on a second one and waited about a minute, literally, it showed up. First one stayed blank. Give it a try. I am on Chrome, what are you on?

    Mary, Ati noted the gift card amount spent is showing, and may also be included in the overall amount spent as well (on the store change thread)  I'm still wading through the comments. 

    So glad I never bothered doing comments on the wishlists, as those will not be replaced.

    This is the new Product Library page. The order date and order number are now missing, but you have a scrolling section of what's included now.

    Anyone having trouble with the cart not checking out? I selected my saved card etc, hit the button and a Red excalamation thingy pops up at top but the message says (OK then a string of numbers). 

    Tried 3 times, same result.

    @genaris  OMGosh, you are brave to even attempt to do an order right now! I wouldn't, because on the store thread people are having wonky things during checkout. (Someone mentioned store credit being the option and no Paypal, IIRC)   Rawb said the same sale will be offered tomorrow, so I'd just wait. If it's a payment thing, I don't think I would do it anymore, you may be charged for each one of those. Be sure and check your credit card/ Paypal for duplicate charges. I can't help you on the cart checkout as I'm not touching that experience until this gets sorted out. :(

    Yeah, my first product never came up, even with refreshes. Talk about wonky on the wonky. It's not just you. :)

    @genaris   Do a screenshot of your cart, they will honor it. Submit a ticket now-it doesn't matter if you do it after Daz midnight but it helps to have the timestamp from the bottom of your computer screen. :)   I'd just open a ticket saying you want those prices honored. If the store settles and you are able to get the cart to work tomorrow (it sure won't be tonight!)  then you can cancel the ticket. Edit- or just do a screenshot so you have it, and wait and see if the store settles/ same deals offered.

    All these squares are driving me nuts, even though Rawb said they work. (Note the quote, and go up to the cogs at the top of the forum, where you bookmark and option. If you mouseover, a text popup will tell you what you're doing.

    I had opened the last 12 pages of my Product Library with separate tabs prior to TC, just in case it went wonky. But I never bothered with the My Account stuff, so glad they have the Platinum Club membership status on the mend or fixed. I don't have Store Credit but that sounds like some weird shennanigans went on with that. Hope everyone's get sorted out. Gonna be a long night for Daz employees LOL. 

    How's DIM going, anyone try that yet?

    Hmmm, I've got DIM active from before TC, I'm going to do screenshots as I scroll down, and compare it to the new one after I start it up again, to see if all products are there. Back in a bit.
