Converting & Animating DAZ Prop in iClone

I have the Shuttlestar by Kiabbeto which is great work and what I would like to do if possible is take into 3DXchange rename the bones via make sub-prop button with all by bone structure complete I have viewed the excellent video by Warlord720 Converting & Animating DAZ Prop in iClone and followed along with great success however I notice when you take into 3DXchange you are not able to use make sub-prop button plus not all the bones are named i.e. SSFpilot1stick plus a few others so is there a way to carry out this procedure .

    not sure of that one but if they have the same bone name iClone may see them as duplicates.
    one way is rename them using bone editor selecting bones in scene list then in scene right click edit rename bone rename node in the window.
    or simply do what I do, hide bits you want seperate and export as obj with ignore hidden vertices checked then do those by themselves and attach in iClone
