Unfortunately I got the same error message. Something about this character doesn't seem compatible for smart content.
Hi,
I picked up the product last night. I am unable to get the link back to my store at Renderosity to work. The product creates without problems in the Smart Content tab but as soon as I click on the "More Information" then it does not open to the product in my store. I also get an error message in the log that says Vendor "False". Could you guide me on how to fix this please?
Thanks.
After you have deleted the product and rerun CW, could I see the log?
Could I see the log please?
Ok, I know what is happening. More trouble with the ampersand (&). Did you reanalyze the file or were you loading something you had analyzed before? Try not naming the product with an ampersand in the name.
Hi, thank you for responding. Here is the log and a screenshot when I click on the main image. I could also forward a link to my store if it would help. Thank you
FINALLY!!! Thank you so much. I took out the ampersand in the product name, but that wasn't enough. I had to also remove it from the product photo name as well. After that installation of smart content worked perfectly! I have installed so much content using your script with no issues so it was driving me crazy that just this one character didn't work.
Thanks again for your patience, quick response and help!
I am glad that works! Now I need to fix the script
What is the product ID you are entering? (Unfortunately, since you had already created the product, I don't see the product id. I need to fix the messages so I see that no matter what). When you do click, what URL is constructed? (BTW, the isVendor is a Daz DB field and I think it gets filled on whether you are a Daz vendor or not)
EDIT: You could also try deleting the product (per the manual) and reinstalling it and posting the log.
Hello, ok I deleted the product completely and re-installed. The product id is 141281. I am attaching a screenshot. Here are the log files from the beginning to the end. I hope it helps. When I click on the URL nothing happens.Thank you for helping.
Ok, the link stuff is something I need to work on. I had hoped I had done everything right but obviously not. This is NOT a documented area of the scripts so it is a matter of guess and test . However, the vendor key stuff should work, i.e., when you click the vendor name on a product, it should set up a filter in DS to show only your stuff.
Hello, that is fine. No problem. I hope it can be fixed because it is a really nice option for vendors on other sites like Rendo. Yes, the vendor key stuff works fine. Also, I don't know if it is causing a problem but for the link I have noticed that all daz products use the url daz.com/product name. Renderosity does not work the same. For this product I have the following: https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/product name. Thanks for your quick response.
I just got it. When I try to open it I get the dreaded pop up "An error occurred while reading the file, see the log file for more details" the log says this
Usually, this means something was not installed right. If you go to E:/Final DAZ/Applications/Data/DAZ 3D/My DAZ 3D Library/data/cloud/1_67507/data/riversoft art/common/rssmartcontentconstants.dsa
and load it in a text editor, does it start like this:
//=== File Prolog ============================================================
// This code was developed by RiverSoftAVG/RiverSoftArt.
//
//--- Notes ------------------------------------------------------------------
// Provides constants
//
I just get gobbely goop opened in notepad

Ok, that is not right. I would uninstall and reinstall. You may have to use DIM instead of Connect.
Ok, I will try that, thanks
Worked! Thanks River dude! I love your stuff, I don't know what I'd ever do now without Look At Me II :)
Awesome! I am glad it worked.
Look at Me II is still my favorite script.
Where is the zip for the latest patch?
I am trying to figure out how to fix/restructure files that do not import correctly. I can have some Renderosity vendors files install perfect and then others hangup on the Smart Content Install. Help me understand how this file gets created under the Support folder that is not there during the install for some reason when I use Content Wizard Install?

Looks like I found a strange work around for every product that fails. Go into the broken product in Smart Content, select SHOW CONTENT IN CONTENT LIBRARY. Delete Content listed there and reinstall. Not sure why that fixes it or what causes it randomly in the first place?
I use DIM and it showed up. If you are doing manual installation, it should be in the usual place (wherever that is).
This seems to be a fix for a lot of problems. The manual at the end describes this exact procedure. Unfortunately, it seems like DS gets in a state where it won't accept the script's inputs without deleting the product first (and the script is unable to delete the product). I am glad you got it working.
Install multiple contents if there is a failed warning of unzip it means the whole contents will not be installed?
"...FAILED!!! Make sure the zip file(s) is not corrupted AND that no file browser is open on the working directory contents, keeping the working directory from being deleted"
This error is not ofent fatal. This error occurs when the working directory is cleared and can occur when even one file or directory could not be deleted. In general, I ignore it. If you want to be sure, you can clear the directory yourself before starting the script.
It's just weird I got "...ERROR extracting files" of a content. But I tried to extract it by hand it was fine.
And if there is one error extracting like that other contents will not be installed.
Are you sure the installations are not working? As I said, for some reason, the script will not always clear the working directory. I think that the OS keeps a handle to the directory. But I don't have a problem installing.
