Your G3 morphs are working, okay ... are they also on the cloud? That's where your G8 morphs are showing to be.

G3 Morphs are working awesome! I decided to wipe out my computer and reinstall the G8 Morphs with the same issues. Must be an issue with the path or maybe a config file?  I used the direct connect install and download manager.

Some people have reported problems with morphs not showing up when installed via Connect.

Did you uninstall the Connect version before installing with DIM or manually? If a Connect version is present DS will always use this one, so you really need to uninstall it to see if the other versions work.

I am also missing the female body morph, which is annoying as hell seeing I ONLY use Connect...  and I Know this was not a problem some weeks ago (haven't needed to use those morphs for a while, due to not having morphed a female character lately.)

Any way to make this work WITHOUT having to install via DIM or manually?

I think some people managed to "fix" their connect install by replacing the connect installed files with the files from a manual install.

Where is the path of a manual install? Maybe I need to the correct path? I think I need the path of the old school runtime location?

Other way round, you don't need to worry about where the manual install "ought to" go.

    • Download manual install file from your Product Library page
    • Unpack it
    • Copy the morph files in the /data/ folder into the matching folder in the Connect installation, overwriting the existing files

Edit: nearly forgot, this must be done with DAZ|Studio closed — D|S considers the Connect folders to be protected.

You are the best!!! It worked like a champ!! Thank you so much!! interesting thing is files looked smaller compared to what was packed in the zip file! Thank you again!!

  • Glad to help. There's a lot of Weird Things™ that can happen in DAZ|Studio, and there's usually someone on the forums here who's already had it happen to them.

  • Had the same problem and SpottedKitty fix worked like a charm. God I hate installing products manually!
