DAZ Studio crashing during rendering - simple scene - all default settings.

I am new to DAZ 3D, still learning (After watching few youtube videos,I tried to render a 9 sec walk animation, system crashing)

Procedure did

1) loaded genesis 2
2) loaded clothing - Barefoot Dancer
3) loaded walk animation - via animate pane (Locked x and z translate - Gofigure3d.com - tutorial - walk-in-place)
4) in render tab selected - Render to - movie *.avi fornat
5) started rendering - after 6 to 10 frames - DAZ studio crashing.
6) all in default setting used

Rebooted system - tried again and again with same above steps - after 5 to 10 frames DAZ 3D Crashing.

searched forum for solution - nothing found.

Saved Error/bug report - I don't know how to submit. - where to submit error/bug report ???

You don't have a lot of RAM, and you are using the 32 bit version of DS on Windows XP, which can only see 2 GB of memory.

Most animators do not save to AVI, they save to an image sequence, and put it together in video editing software, try that and see if that helps.

Saving to Avi format is a iffy thing. The reason is the Gpahic card on the PC. Each card made supports different versions of the AVI codic depending on many different things including who made the card, and some simply do not play nice on PC's in save mode. They work just FINE to view AVI files but I myself avoid using them to save files with. I do save to Frames and then use a Video Editor to create the finished output file. Many out there and even the free ones are better than doing Save as Avi in DAZ Studio.
