Genesis 2 content for V4....

Hello!
I know this topic has been covered extensively in a post, but I'm still failing to fully grasp it. Here's a specific product I would like to use:

http://www.daz3d.com/textures-skin-maps/inked-vol-2-for-genesis-2

The specified compatible 3D figures are Genesis 2 Female, Genesis 2 Male.

So will this work for V4? Further, will any content for Genesis 2 female work on V4?

Sorry for being a newb, thanks in advance!

    I very much doubt if it would work as V4 is a stand alone figure, unrelated to the Genesis technology.

    You may be able to use it on V4 -- it doesn't use V4's UV, but you should be able to apply them as long as they don't run across seams, although you may need to adjust the positioning.

    What you want are the Inked sets for V4 -- also there's one for M4! -- which are available at Renderosity. ;-)

    Thanks - but quick follow up. The inked for V4 on Renderosity says its compatible with these products:

    Poser 7 or higher; Victoria 4 and/or Aiko 4 @ Daz3D

    It doesn't say it works in Daz Studio....so I'm confused. Shouldn't it say it works in Daz?

    They use Python Scripts, which means that Poser can read them, but Daz Studio does not use Python scripting.

    There is however an add-on product which goes with some of the various sets at Renderosity which has DS settings. It is done by Draagonstorm.

    If you remember that DAZ 3D is the Company and Daz Studio is the program, then you can see that the vendor is saying the V4, Aiko4 and Girl 4 are found at DAZ 3D.

    No it doesn't work in DS to use those you also need to buy the Daz Studio Presets, these work in DS 2 and 3 I don't know if they work in DS4.6, you could PM Draagonstorm and ask.

    Inked vol 8 at Rendo includes DS Layered Image Presets so that it works in DAZ Studio. I don't think any of the other Inked packages do.

    If you type Inked into Renderosity's MarkerPlace Search Box it will bring up all the Inked products for V4 & M4 :-).
