Blue background

I use Daz3d to make renders of characters only. I used to have a nice transparent background when I rendered. I must have done something wrong but now all my renders have a light blue background (the color of my viewport background).
How do I get it back to transparent?

Change the image that you save your render to as PNG, that has a transparency.

It must be set to JPG at the moment.

Save the image file, and then look at it. It should then be transparent, mine shows a blue background as well in the Preview window, but not when I load it into windows Photo Viewer. I see you are on a Mac, but it must have a similar viewer.

    Thanks Addict,
You are right. It is transparent if I open it in pixelmator.

    :-)

    Glad it works for you.

The reason for the Smiley is because I am JimmyC_2009, Addict is what the forum software calls me because I have so many posts, in the same way that it calls anyone with under 100 posts as a New Member, even if they have been here for years. You are not the first one to make that mistake.

    Best wishes
