Hi all,

This product caught my attention and before I commit to buying this I wondered if anyone here has anything to say about it.

I have a couple of the Cyclorama sets and I'm always on the lookout for a way to make the background look more interesting and not just flat 2D.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks but for trusting my judgement...hum I don't sometimes. ;)

Yes I like this product but it doesn't mean everyone will. :) I find it good if I want a simple backdrop with out the long render overhead when using full 3D trees and grass.

You haven't led me astray yet!

Yes, render times are a consideration - I really don't like those all-nighters (with or without little blue pills!)

    LOL

Hello, sorry for pushing Szark to the side ;-)

I use those quite a lot when I want to fill up backgrounds of forest scenes with more dense forest. They render fast and look good,

    Wow! Gorgeous!

Totally agree with your cat sentiments! A neighbour down the road hoards cats - probably has 60 or so. Bells on all of them would create quite a racket though! :)

Thank you sinfany. I am not against cats pre se I would just like owners to have more control over them, like us dog owners need to be by law. I pester my local council every 6 months to pull their finger out and make a bylaw about cats which they have ready and have had for a while.

Unfortunately, Pete, they cannot legislate responsible ownership!

Another neighbour (farther down the road) had their cats taken away because inbreeding (of cats!) had produced some grotesque mutations that were freaking out the passersby! This had all the makings of a Stephen King type neighbourhood. It could make an interesting render with a few deformers!

In the UK I can be fined for A; letting my dog foul without me picking it up and B; if I have the dog off a lead on main roads. Cats can roam free fouling my garden. But yes enforcing it is the problem with puddy tats.

LOL Pete, have you ever tried to control a cat.

Seriously my 2 new young ones are house cats, only go out for walks on leads. It is the neighbourhood cats who come to admire them, sometimes sitting on the outside windowsill for hours watching my cats on the inside watching them, they are the ones who poop in my flower beds.

Previous cats i have had Kelly could get a bell off a collar within half an hour of buying him a new collar, and I think he taught the trick to Tiggy, the next one to arrive.

my daughter in law lives next door and she has a cat, indoor cat and she has taught it not to go outside the boundary fence when it is outside. But granted yes it is hard to control a cat but doable.

    Really?

Top Secret...cat's journal entries, found AFTER escape...

    Day 983 of My Captivity

My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are fed hash or some sort of dry nuggets. Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength.

The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape. In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the carpet. Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly demonstrates my capabilities. However, they merely made condescending comments about what a "good little hunter" I am. Bastards!

There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event. However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to the power of "allergies." I must learn what this means, and how to use it to my advantage.

Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow, but at the top of the stairs.

I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches. The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released, and seems to be more than willing to return. He is obviously retarded. The bird must be an informant. I observe him communicate with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. My captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe. For now ...
