Are these compatable?

Hi, I just bought the Genesis 2 Female Head Morphs and all is good with that. But I want to be able to change Genesis 2 to a child so I was thinking of buying the Growing Up for Genesis 2 Females package. But before I do that I was wondering if they will work together? Like for example, say I do some face morphs and then change it to a child, will the morphs stay or will they return to default settings? I want to model my own kids but I don't want to spend the money if it wont work. I've only been using Daz for a couple of weeks so I just thought I would see if anyone knew for sure before I spent my money on it. Thanks!

Applying one morph doesn't undo another (unless it was deliberately set up that way, of course, but that wouldn't be the case here). You may need to adjust the results to get the look you want, and very occasionally you will come across a pair of morphs that simply look bad together, but for the most part you are free to mix and match.

I don't have the Genesis 2 version, but I have the Genesis Growing Up. I've just quickly rendered Stephanie 5, Victoria 5 and a character from adamthwaites called Colleen as five year olds. I think you can see they are quite distinctive - I have only changed the colours, not the pose or expression.

The Growing Up morphs are a great investment if you intend to create children using G2F. There aren't many morphs you can't blend with them, and as Cayman illustrated it's very easy to make children quite distinctive if you have additional morphs. If you do plan on buying it, I'd also like to recommend the Sisters pack as well. It comes with a wonderful texture set which is ideal for youths as well as some great new child character morphs. As far as I'm aware, the Brothers and Sisters packs are the only child products for Genesis 2 so far.

The biggest benefit to Genesis 2 is how you can easily blend morphs together, and the Growing Up sets are no exception.
