Confined by Range of Motion

I have been very pleased with Daz figures and rely on them quite a bit. One of the limitations that have severely limited me is lack of spinal range of motion. Some of the problem may lie with me but I suspect it is because of the limited number of motion segments in the lumbar spine. Many times I can work around limitations with creative posing but I am having a lot of problems with a project I am working on now. It entails developing a matrix of 9 postures to should lifts at 3 heights and 3 horizontal distances from the lifter. All look good except the low lifts where lumbar motion limitations and the necessity to compensate with thoracic range of motion are most evident. I am using Victoria 4 and do not want to change to another model because I have clothes to match pregnancy morphs that will also need to be developed for this project. I attached a picture to illustrate my problem. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!
