Older Characters/Figures with 4.6.2?

I'd like to know if I were to buy the older figures, like Freak 5, if they'd work with the latest DAZ Studio? I assume they will, I'll just have to buy the specific props and stuff for them or tweak the stuff like I would if using some of the older stuff with M6/V6.

I downloaded the program a couple of weeks ago and have played around with a few builds and gone through a couple of the tutorials. I've also made extensive use of the search function here and can find all kinds of topics covering using older figure items with Genesis 2 and M6/V6 and their friends, but not my question above.

    Last I checked, all the base figures and most of the characters from 4th generation on up were still available in the DAZ store...and Genesis 1 should come in the Starter Essentials (the needed 'base' for any of the 5th generation characters).

    I still use V3 so yep the older figures still work in DS4.6.2
