missing file

Hi, 

 

A while ago I accidentally saved a character as an asset. When I noticed what I'd done I deleted the asset file and thought nothing of it until I loaded a new G8M. I now get this error:

"data/daz 3d/noel/noel/genesis8male.dsf"

It's not the end of the world but I can't help feeling it takes longer now to load G8M and not being able to fix it grates on me. What can I do?

    Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Genesis 8 Male Starter Essentials?

    Oh, yeah, many times since for other reasons and Daz Studio. The problem is somewhere but the usual fixes don't do it.

    Uninstalling will only remove the files that where installed in the first place.  You will probably have to nuke (delete) your G8M folder.
