Issues with Reinterject for G2f SOLVED
I seem to be having an odd issue with the Dimension theory Reinterject.
Two actually first uninstalling and reinstalling when I use the V6 skin preset it cannot find surM2Zillah200b.jpg anywhere, a search of my entire harddrive cannot find this file. I installed using the install manager. Skipping seems to allow it to load without issues, unless it is causing the second issue I am having which is..
Everything looks great except for right at the thighs (Picture below, it is a little hard to see) but right where a pair of bike shorts would end is a line, basically right where the hip surface ends and leg surface begins there is a faint difference but enough to see a line present in a render.
Would my solution be to uninstall and do a manual install as it seems the download manager is completely missing the above mentioned file and it may be the one causing the issue? Or is this caused by something else altogether?
Edit, looking at it, it seems the reinterject is stopping at the end of the hip surface. The reinterject was applied to a brand new loaded v6. V6 selected, surfaces selected.

I have this product and I cannot reproduce the error about surM2Zillah200b.jpg. The file surM2Zillah200b.jpg is the bump map for the torso section of Zillah. Do you have that character? If you do that texture file should be in /Runtime/Textures/Surreality/V6/M2Zillah directory.
Were you applying the Preset to Zillah? I tried the preset on V6 and Zillah and did not have any problem.
There was an update to the product not long ago. Mine says it was installed on January 22, 2014. Since I bought this when it came out in November, this must have been an update. Do you have the update? The readme says the update just added a video tutorial, so not likely to have anything to do with this.
The lack of a bump map is likely why the legs look different to the torso area. I'd suggest checking that all files were correctly installed by manually looking at the folder where the textures are stored.
I was able to replicate the error message by applying the Reinterject for Genesis 2 Female(s) V6-SkinPreset.duf located in Genesis 2 Female>Materials>Victoria 6>DimensionTheory>Reinterject to V6. I'll file a problem report.
Edit: 02/12/2014 Request #161955 submitted reporting both texture loading error and resulting render anomaly.
Ahh thank you, I had gone ahead and downloaded and installed manually and ran into the same issue. It was just V6-SkinPreset applied to the V6 base figure and it kept throwing that error looking for that file :) and a search of my entire harddrive could not find that file anywhere.
Thank you Lindsey.
Edit: It could be because I do not own Zillah that the error is occurring.
I do have Zillah, which is why I am not getting the error. I double checked V6 after I applied this and discovered that the Ears skin region was using the Zillah bump map after applying this preset. If it is only the Ears that are missing the bump map, that does not completely explain the lines near the hip.
Check what bump map is used on the Hips, Torso and Legs after using the preset. Is the bump map missing on the hips by any chance?
Edit: If you look at the DUF file for the preset in a text editor, you can see the the Zillah file mentioned.
I have the same seam problem on Belle and Anna skin with reinterject.
The bump is the same as for the rest of her, the regular V6Anna bump. It is present across all of her. As far as I can tell, nothing is missing. At least for bump maps.
To me it looks like a shader is failing to apply, as below her thighs the reflections and glossiness is missing where on her thighs there is slight light reflection. I do not think it is a bump map issue as I haven't applied the "V6 normal maps" Reinterjections on the figure above either. So no changes in bump mapping should even occur by my understanding.
It looks like a difference between a matte finish and a glossy finish. :). Laymans terms to me, like she stopped applying suntan oil abruptly mid thigh.
