DIM? Photo shop bridge ask for a destination I have done that and it still doesn't work and Face shop does not download with DIM
You must click on the little 'gear' icon at the top right of the DIM interface, then select 'Applications', and enter the path to your version of Photoshop, so that DIM knows where it is. It also only works for CS4 or higher as chohole has pointed out.
I don't know anything about Faceshop, but according to the product page, it is both a plugin for DS AND a stand alone program.
Go to your 'My Account' area, find Faceshop in the list, and the page that appears will offer you downloads for both Manual and DIM. You probably need the Manual one for the stand alone version.
If using with DS4 or higher, you need Photoshop CS4-CS6. It does not work in the CC version.
Daz Studio, Photoshop, and the bridge all have to be installed as either 32 or 64 bit. You can't use say Daz Studio and Photoshop 64bit with the 32bit bridge.
As Jimmy said, DIM is the easiest way to install the bridge, but you need to do some setup first.
In DIM, click the cogwheel in the upper right and go to the Applications tab.
Note there is a default Daz Studio install location there. If this isn't the same path as yours, highlight it and click the - sign in the lower left of the window.
To add an app:
Click the + sign in the lower left of the window.
Select the app in the first drop down, the installed version in the 2nd drop down, and the bit the app is installed as in the 3rd.
Finally click the ... button to the right of the blank "text" box and browse for the path.
All paths are pointed to primary install directories, not sub directories such as Plugins, etc ( ie C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64bit) )
I have done the settings and made the path for photo shop bridge in plugins nothing still ask for a path. Face shop tells you how to install but it doesn't install even after it says its successful!
On the bridge, did you set the path in the Applications tab and did you tell it it was the Photoshop path - you have to pick the application and version as well as the location, which for PS should be the main folder not the plug-ins folder.
Ok well I thought I had adobe installed with this laptop. Question so adobe opens things even with out me having adobe? So I need to buy adobe Photoshop?
Like I said I don't care to much about the photo bridge I really need help with face shop. I don't want to make a ticket I hate asking Daz support stuff. :(

What problems are you having with the Photoshop Bridge?
The easiest way is to use DIM, if that is what you are doing, what problems are you having?
DIM? Photo shop bridge ask for a destination I have done that and it still doesn't work and Face shop does not download with DIM
Do you have a compatible version of Photoshop. The bridge doesn't work with all versions of PS.
You must click on the little 'gear' icon at the top right of the DIM interface, then select 'Applications', and enter the path to your version of Photoshop, so that DIM knows where it is. It also only works for CS4 or higher as chohole has pointed out.

A few requirements for the bridge:

Can you please post a screenshot of your Applications tab in DIM, so that we can see what you have entered.
Are you using CS4 or above?
On the bridge, did you set the path in the Applications tab and did you tell it it was the Photoshop path - you have to pick the application and version as well as the location, which for PS should be the main folder not the plug-ins folder.
? So wait I need adobe photo shop to use the photo shop bridge?
I can't do a screenshot at the moment cause it won't let me while I am installing. I clicked plugin and it still ask for a path
I really don't care that much about the photo shop bridge but Face shop I need to install
Uhm, yes.
You can't bridge to an application that you don't even have.
Ok well I thought I had adobe installed with this laptop. Question so adobe opens things even with out me having adobe? So I need to buy adobe Photoshop?
Yes, the Photoshop Bridge needs Photoshop CS4, C5 or CS6 and GoZ needs ZBrush - if you don't have those don't install the plug-ins.
Like I said I don't care to much about the photo bridge I really need help with face shop. I don't want to make a ticket I hate asking Daz support stuff. :(
What the **** I can't even download adobe Photo shop it gives me creative cloud this is getting stupid.
HAHAHAHAHAHA! I GOT FACESHOP TO WORK!
I think you will find that direct from Adobe you can now only get the Creative Cloud version, however it is still possinble to buy Photshop from some software retailers. like this one http://www.zoom4u.co.uk/adobe-photoshop-extended-cs6---pc---2675-p.asp
You can still buy CS6 from Adobe themselves.

You just have to read the small print on the CC membership plans page to find the link.
Thank you but it seems like waste of time doing all that for a photo editor.
If you just need a photo editor and don't care about the bridge, try something like Gimp.
whats Gimp? most of the time I just use paint lol.
Free and open source Photoshop alternative.
