the 30% discount only applies to items marked as "Daz 3d" So if it is made by another artist selling here it does not apply? is this correct?

    That is correct. Daz Originals list DAZ 3D as one of the Vendors. Also it doesn't apply to $1.99 and $2.99 PC items either.
