how do I find a required path for "Photoshop 3D Bridge for DAZ Studio ?

edited December 1969 in New Users

i keep getting the message " Install Manager cannot find a required path. The installer for "Photoshop 3D Bridge for DAZ Studio 4.5+ (Win 64-bit)" requires that the installed path for "Photoshop CS6, CS5, CS4 (64-bit)" be defined. Make sure that a path for this application is present on the "Applications" page of the "Settings" dialog, then try again. " and i have no idea how to fix it , i have seen others post about this but i dont know how to make the path , so step by step help would be much appreciated !!

Go to the cog wheel in the upper right corner of your DIM viewport. Select the applications tab. Add the path to your photoshop

In Daz Studio, go to File > Initialize Photoshop 3D Bridge
In Photoshop, go to File > Automate > Daz Studio 3D Bridge

In DS, be sure the 3D Camera is the active camera when you want things to import into Photoshop.

As for the DS Panel in Photoshop:
Preview, Update Image, and Auto Update don't do squat.
Render to New Layer is self explanatory.
Export Scene as U3D/DAE is if you have the Extended version of Photoshop. These will allow you to import the scene for use in 3D mode.
Import Image Maps will import your chosen textures into Photoshop.
Export Image Maps will export your edited/chosen textures as copies to avoid overwriting the originals.

Some of these tasks require you to tab back into Daz Studio once you push the button. DS should flash in your taskbar to alert you.
