Trying to understand Genesis (1&2)

So here are my questions as it sits

1st) am I understanding correctly that most any clothing for Genesis figures works how ever you morph? so Ex. would https://www.daz3d.com/rave-girl-for-aiko-5 morph to say fit Micheal 5?

Also do the G5 things work for G6 or are they entirely separate?

    Generally, yes. Where there is a massive difference in the size of the figures, there may be some texture stretching.

    There is an Autofit clone supplied with G2 which allows clothing made for Genesis (original) to be used. Autofit work s well in most cases, but shoes and hair can sometimes use a bit of work.

    The original Genesis figure is Generation 5 (V5 M5 etc), Genesis 2 F and M is Generation 6 .
