Hi!
I want to know how to put a movie like a texture in a primitive plane or in the background, because I want to copy the pose from a movie in my figure genesis.
Please if somebody know how to do it, contact with me.
Thanks!!

though We need to make job file by text editor, it is reasonable way,, and we can apply image sequence,
    almost property of surface,

to check current flame material, I think we need to close and re-open this script then load job file again.
if I keep open the dialogue window, I can not move flame.I may ask casuall about this question,,
    (IF I miss something,,)

It is first time to test this script but,, it is fun^^b

anyaway it is useful and good free script !!!

Is this what you're looking for?

It's mostly for integrating a video into an animation, but it also works on single still frames, I think.

Carefull with the Dreamlight thing. It is probaby not working in DAZ 4.5 and higher.
Better have a look at the one from DraagonStorm.

I think the OP wants to match move the figures poses with a person in a video
don't think Daz preview will allow this as such
one possibility is if you can convert your movie to an image series
load consecutive frames one at a time in background and pose along timeline, can be every 24th or 30th frame dep on movie fps and just let Daz tween between seconds
will be slow and tedious how ever you do it.

carrara is the only program I have that will show actual video frames in the backdrop nicely along the timeline as you move the scrubber
not that I have ever tried copying a pose, just putting figures in videos.
iClone can too but lags a bit preview
can in Poser but it gets a bit crashy

Ah, yes, that was the one I was looking for. :-)
The Dreamlight will only work in DS 3.0.

The dragon storm product seems almost same with Casual Script to check current flame texture.
(though I plan to buy dragon strom products too)

the Dragon Storm product need texture saved as sequences image, as same as casual script,

The texture sequences are not key-framed, so if you change the starting frame number, the textures will not set to then advanced sequence. You will need to set that up before starting the script, if necessary.

It is what I have seen about Casual Script too.

when I change current flame to 50, and check current texture in 3d view, I needed to close and open script window,
then load same job file again.

About Casual script, there is Action button to see the texture of current flame.
it auto-load current flame texture on the surface proeprty.
