Help with a skirt for Genesis

Hi there folks.

I am working on a project involving a certain character who may look somewhat familiar. As you will see in the picture, though (as indicated by the arrow), I am having issues with the skirt. I have bought (from here) or DLed (from ShareCG) several variants. This first one is actually from ShareCG and is for Genesis 2. It kinda-sorta works with Gen 1, and it does have a number of morphs, but as you can see, it doesn't look right, and no amount of fussing on my part has been able to make the skirt lay correctly across her legs.

I also bought the Pink Ink suit, which includes a skirt that is for Genesis 1, and its results are a little better in some ways. The second picture shows this. However, it doesn't sit flat on the thigh when the leg is bent, for example. It also doesn't have any morphs, or any way to easily recolor it to take advantage of the trim, etc (you can't color them separately from the main outfit, at least not without attacking the UV files). And the wasitband is a bit higher than I would like anyway, so recoloring it doesn't do me a lot of good (say, to make the top part yellow in place of the belt).

I have tried a few other outfits with skirts and none are able to do what I want. Lazy Sunday has a great conforming skirt but it comes with a top that I don't want/need (I use the Genesis Supersuit for her top). It also doesn't let me color the top and bottom separately. I guess I could play around with opacity maps to get the top to go transparent as a last resort. But it seems to me if the skirt part of that dress can conform, then there should be JUST a skirt out there that can do the same thing.

I tried the dynamic skirt for V4 (there doesn't seem to be one for Genesis), but either it's not working right with Genesis, or else I am doing something wrong, because it has caused me all kinds of issues, such as in the 3rd and 4th pictures. In particular there seem to be issues with the dynamic cloth and "gravity," which is a problem for this particular character, given that I will need to frequently pose her flying above the ground in gravity-defying positions. See picture 4.

And so, my question is, does anyone know of a better conforming skirt for Genesis 1, or failing that, some way to make my existing products play a little more nicely with poses and/or gravity? Maybe there is a setting I am missing in one of the control panels that would make things drape better... but if so I have yet to find it.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.
