Hey guys!
Was just interested in this program so I got Hexagon 2.5 and DazStudio 4.6. I had a question on capabilities and what kind of workflow it has.
Mainly, is there a way to model in Hexagon, export to DAZ, rigg, and then animate? That was the ultimate goal I was looking for but I'm not really sure were to start off doing that. I basically would like to create my own content through Hexagon, then export it to DAZ, rig and then animate it. Perhaps that's the wrong workflow, but just what is on my mind. Thanks!

That is how you would need to do it, yes.
Hexagon can model very well, but there is no rigging capabilities in it, so sending it to DAZ Studio would be the only way. There is a bridge between DS and Hex, so a model created in Hex can be sent straight to DS via the bridge.
Obviously, you need to learn the rigging tools inside DS as well, which is not a simple matter.
Sweet deal, thanks for answering my question! I was just concerned that maybe I was going the wrong direction and thus wasting time when I should do it some other way. What it sounds like to me then is that I need to first get comfortable with Hexagon modeling and such, then approach the task of actually rigging in DS. At least now I know I'm headed in the right direction :)
