Hi everyone,

Just a quick question for you all. I was wondering if there is a way of changing the dpi of my rendered pictures. I would like to use them as wallpaper on my iMac. My desktop display is: 1920x1080.

I have looked around the forums, but to date i can not find anything to help me out.

Thanks for your help.

In your render settings you can set the dimensions in pixels. DPI has no meaning for digital images -- screens are measured in pixels.

    Daz Studio?
You can not change the DPI but you can change the resolution (size) in the Advanced Render Settings Pane in Daz Studio.

If you realy like to change the DPI of your rendered picture you need a graphic program like Photo-Paint or similar.

Thank you all of you for helping me. I wanted to change it to wide screen so that it fitted to my desk top.

I have had a look and will have a play to see what one will work out best for my desktop.

Thanks again for your very kind time.

There's a widescreen (16:9) preset in render settings, pick that and then enter the width and the height should auto adjust. If you do want a ratio that isn't in the list of presets remember to uncheck Constrain Proportions before entering the numbers.
