What version of Poser? Since Poser 7 or 8 I think the default has been to put the content in Documents, with only Python scripts going in the Program Files runtime. You can add a new runtime for new things and leave what you have in the internal runtime, or move everything except Python scripts. Then you won't need Administrative privileges.
I've tried installing Michael from "Content tab" located after "pose", "material" "face", "hair", cloth and setup. In the upper left corner it says "Install from Zip Archive. I clicked on the Michael zip file and it asked if I wanted to put it in runtime, or downloads. I tried it both ways. The file looked like it was downloading, I watched it unpack. I got a message "File operation done!" But when I go to Pose, he's still not in the library.

Are you trying to install with DAZ Install Manager or manually extracting from the zip?
I've tried both.
If I try to copy Michael runtime into Poser runtime it says I need an administrators permission?
Is your Poser runtime under Documents? On Windows 7/8/Vista it is not a good idea to put content in Program Files.
The only Poser runtime I can find is inside the Poser program in Program files. Is there suppose to be another?

BTW, I am using Poser 10
Outside of Poser, find the file Michael 4.cr2 and post the complete path to it.
I did it, Michael is in! Thanks!
