Importing models with texture from Zbrush?
Hi,
I don't know whether this is a Bryce or Zbrush question. Does anyone else use these together? I would like to use Bryce's IBL lighting to render objects created in Zbrush. The materials editor in Bryce is very good at things like glass and self-luminous objects. I did an experiment years ago and imported an OBJ file together with its texture from an early version of Zbrush to Bryce. I think it was a matter of simply clicking export. Now I can't do it without the texture wrapping incorrectly. I've messed about (newbie) with settings but Bryce seems to have a square shaped texture map and zbrush has a "T" shaped texture map. I think what I need is a way of exporting Zbrushes texture map in Bryce's format. Can anyone help please?

You'd have to make sure you have unwrapped the mesh in ZBrush and that the texture has been made for the uvs. Polypaint doesn't normally import with an obj, though Blender, I believe, can handle it as vertex paint.
