[Please help] Cyber Suit Mark II - Glow Settings

I've seen this question asked a few times, but never answered.
How do you get the glow suits to glow in DAZ?

The read-me for Cyber Suit Mark II (RA Graphics) states that to use the glow settings you need to load an additional texture for the limbs and torso into the ambient settings and then to set the ambient value for the color around 12.0

Despite following the read-me, I have been unable to get the glow to work. I've tried bright colors, dark colors (as is suggested in the read-me) but it has made no difference to the render. (I've had no problem getting glow settings working in the ambient tab before, so I am at a bit of a loss.)

Any suggestions gratefully appreciated - thanks.

The product page on Rendo does mention DAZ Studio at all.

The best way to get an answer, would be to contact the vendor at Rendo, and ask them if it works inside DS and how.

12 is based on Poser, for DS you'll need to ramp it up more. If you want it to cast actual light though, you'll need to turn that surface into an uberarea light since DS can't cast light by the ambient channel alone the way Poser can.

I have no idea how to turn that surface into an uberarea light, but thanks for the suggestion.

I've asked the vendor, he's willing to help, but he does not use DAZ so is unfamiliar with it. When you load the suit (second skin) in preview you can see the ambient glow, but even if you choose a bright light and turn the ambient setting all the way up to 100% it's barely noticeable when rendered (with or without a light set). I'm wondering if there are other settings that will boost the ambient glow.

Incidentally. I have two other products with an ambient glow setting. AS iiv3 skin (which has separate DAZ settings) works perfectly, but the 3rd one I have from another vendor (with no DAZ settings) suffers from the same issue (the ambient lights are too dark).

Generally speaking, ambient map (texture) + white ambient color + ambient strength 100% should produce glowing appearance.
