Elvis Sighting Case #7223-SD

Mary's Bar and Grill, Dupree, SD

April 15, 2010

An employee of Mary's Bar and Grill, working on her own that night, stated that a heavy set man wearing sparkly white clothes and blue suede shoes entered the building and headed straight to the broken jukebox located in the back of the bar. Before she was able to warn the visitor that the jukebox was nonfunctional, it suddenly lit up and started to play the song, Jailhouse Rock. The stranger proceeded to sing and dance to the song. Afterwards, he left the building. Not a word was exchanged between the employee and the man. Total time of the encounter was approximately 5 minutes.

A review of the town's weekly newspaper reveals that sheriff's department received six phone calls from citizens who believe they saw a UFO on the night of April 15. Unfortunately, no photographic evidence of either sightings exist. The attached image was drawn by a friend of the employee.

Evaluation: No primary evidence exists. While it is possible that this was an actual sighting, the only evidence available is anecdotal.
